As I’m campaigning non-stop for Save Nina, I wanted to take a pause to recognize and appreciate loved ones for stepping up for my cousin and all those who suffer from blood cancers.
On Twitter, 50 people 150+ people (majority of them are strangers) tweeted and retweeted for Nina, extending our family’s plea for help to thousands of people beyond our familiar networks.
On Facebook, over 40 individuals 100 amazing friends from my close network shared http://www.savenina.com/ and encouraged their friends and family to register.
One result? In the first 24 hours of this campaign, over 400 people requested home kits.
I’ve managed several campaigns in my marketing communications career, but this is the best I’ve ever experienced as loved ones, their loved ones, and complete strangers are rallying together to save a life.
There is much more to do but I want to thank you all for giving my family and me the one thing we all need right now: hope.
