Mrs. Mewie and I experienced perhaps the happiest moment of our lives yet.
This video required the shortest and longest time to make.
Shortest in the sense that once I captured the footage and started the necessary edits, I was done in merely a few hours. That’s a miracle and a sign that I’m finally understanding Final Cut Pro X.
Longest in the sense that this video required several hours of finding the two perfect songs. I searched for the past few months for music that would evoke these specific emotions: hope, suspense, joy and love. Not only did I need these essential elements, I needed songs that didn’t run for too long or for too short – I didn’t want a teaser video or an extended documentary video. The dozens of family members and friends IMing me that they’re crying at this very moment gives me a hint that I accomplished my mission.
The bible verse at the end is our primary inspiration for this journey. We are so excited to share life with our twins in March 2012!
